Papaya Gaming - Soccer Cup Weekend Madness Promotion Terms
SECTION 18 OF COMPANY’S TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINS A BINDING ARBITRATION AND WAIVER OF CLASS ACTION CLAUSE, TO WHICH YOU ARE AGREEING AS PART OF THESE TERMS. PLEASE REVIEW THAT CLAUSE CAREFULLY AS IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
The following are the terms and conditions ("Weekend Madness Terms") of the Papaya Gaming Soccer Cup Weekend Madness tournament (“Weekend Madness Tournament"), which is sponsored by Papaya Gaming Ltd. ("Company", "Papaya", "us" or "we" or "our") and will be active on the Company's Solitaire Cash game (the "Game"). Participation in the Weekend Madness Tournament shall be subject to the provisions below, the Papaya Gaming Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), the General Promotion Rules ("General Promotion Rules") and the Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy").
Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning given to them under the Terms and the General Promotion Rules.
General
1. The Weekend Madness Tournament shall commence on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 12:00 AM UTC and shall conclude on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 3:00 AM UTC (the “Tournament Period”). The Weekend Madness Tournament is divided into two stages, each with its own specific time frame, as specified under section 7 below.
2. You agree that in order to participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament (including, without limitation, in order to win any reward), you will fully comply with all applicable laws, regulations, statutes, ordinances and provisions, including, without limitation, these Weekend Madness Terms, the Terms, the General Promotion Rules and the Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
3. By participating in the Weekend Madness Tournament, you hereby represent and warrant that in addition to the general eligibility requirements in our General Promotion Rules and the Terms, you: (i) download the Game to your device; (ii) are at least 18 years old; (iii) do not reside in Arizona, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan and Montana in the United States (as residents of these locations may not participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament); (iv) are eligible under applicable law to participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament; (v) have the full right and authority to participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament; (vi) have reached level 8 in the Game; and (vii) will access the Weekend Madness Tournament through the Game on your device. Players who access the Weekend Madness Tournament through any external platforms, websites, or sources other than the Game are not eligible to participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament.
4. You may be asked at any time to provide us or our designated third party with proof of your age, identity, residency, or any other eligibility requirement, including, where applicable, proof of source of funds, and you must, upon our request, be able to present valid documentation which may enable us to verify the requirements to our reasonable satisfaction. If you are unable to provide satisfactory documents, we may exclude you from the Weekend Madness Tournament and may forfeit any privileges or awards that have been allocated to you without compensation of any kind. You hereby irrevocably waive any claims or rights in connection with any such exclusion and/or forfeiture.
5. You may not use multiple email addresses, accounts, identities or any other method in order to participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament more than once. You may not register on behalf of another person.
6. If you do not meet the eligibility requirements above, your entry to the Weekend Madness Tournament shall be void.
How to Participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament; Prizes; and Selection of Winners
7. The Weekend Madness Tournament is comprised of two distinct stages, with the first stage consisting of three rounds, as described below. Participants must meet the required qualifying scores in each stage and round in order to advance to the next stage. All stages and rounds, as described below, are live, skill-based tournaments within the Game. Stage and round names as displayed in the Game may vary based on thematic variations.
8. The Weekend Madness Tournament will be displayed within the Game's lobby.
8.1. First Stage – "Elimination Tournaments": The Elimination Tournaments are divided into three rounds. Entry fees for each round will range from $2 USD to $7 USD. In each round, each player will pay an entry fee and play the Game to attempt to achieve a score that qualifies for advancement to the next round. Upon completing a round, each player will have the option to pay an additional entry fee, ranging from $2 USD to $7 USD, to attempt to achieve a higher score, regardless of whether the score(s) that the player has previously achieved would qualify for advancement to the next round. Each player is limited to five attempts per round.
8.1.1. "First Round":
8.1.1.1. Time Period: From Friday, May 29, 2026, at 12:00 AM (UTC) until Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 12:00 AM (UTC).
8.1.1.2. Eligibility: Any player meeting the eligibility requirements, as identified in sections 3, 4 and 5 above, may play in the First Round.
8.1.1.3. How to Advance: Only players who have achieved or surpassed the designated score or rank, as specified in the First Round pop-up, will be eligible to proceed to the Second Round.
8.1.1.4. Prizes: Prizes will be distributed as specified within the Game.
8.1.2. "Second Round":
8.1.2.1. Time Period: From Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 12:00 AM (UTC) until Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 12:00 AM (UTC).
8.1.2.2. Eligibility: Only players who have achieved or surpassed the designated score or rank, as specified in the First Round pop-up, will be eligible to proceed to the Second Round.
8.1.2.3. How to Advance: Only players who have achieved or surpassed the designated score or rank, as specified in the Second-Round pop-up, will be eligible to receive prizes and proceed to the Third Round.
8.1.2.4. Prizes: Prizes will be distributed as specified within the Game.
8.1.3. "Third Round":
8.1.3.1. Time Period: From Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 12:00 AM (UTC) until Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM (UTC).
8.1.3.2. Eligibility: Only players who have achieved or surpassed the designated score or rank, as specified in the Second-Round pop-up, will be eligible to receive prizes and proceed to the Third Round.
8.1.3.3. How to Advance: Only players who have achieved or surpassed the designated score or rank, as specified in the Third Round pop-up, will be eligible to receive prizes and proceed to the Final Live Event (“Madness Finals”).
8.1.3.4. Prizes: Prizes will be distributed as specified within the Game. Each player who obtains a top-of-the-leaderboard rank, as identified in the Third Round pop-up, will receive a ticket to enter the Madness Finals.
8.2. Second Stage –"Madness Finals":
8.2.1. Time Period: From Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 8:00 PM (UTC) to Monday, June 1, 2026, at 3:00 AM (UTC).
8.2.2. Eligibility: Each participant in the Madness Finals must have a ticket to participate, which can be obtained either through the Third Round of the First Stage, or as identified in sections 11 and 21 below. Each player may participate in the Madness Finals up to three times and is limited to the use of three Tickets. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be reallocated or issued multiple times to the same player.
8.2.3. Prizes and winners: Prizes will be awarded only to the top 600 players of the Second Stage – Madness Finals, as follows:
8.2.3.1. First Place: USD $10,000 and one (1) prize package of two (2) VIP tickets to a FIFA World Cup Round of 32 match in Boston. Each ticket is valued at $3,400 USD, for a total package value of $6,800 USD. The prize package is personal to the winner, non-transferable, non-assignable and may not be sold, exchanged or substituted.
8.2.3.2. Second Place: USD $1,000
8.2.3.3. Third Place: USD $500
8.2.3.4. Fourth Place: USD $250
8.2.3.5. Fifth Place: USD $150
8.2.3.6. Sixth Place: USD $100
8.2.3.7. Seventh to Tenth Places: USD $50
8.2.3.8. Eleventh to Twentieth Places: USD $30
8.2.3.9. Other Prizes: Additional prizes, ranging from USD $1 to USD $25, totalling approximately $2,500, will be distributed among the remaining players based on their performance.
9. The First Place prize package includes full hospitality, consisting of drinks, food, premium seating, access to an exclusive lounge, and a premium matchday experience. The First Place prize is limited to the match tickets and hospitality described above and expressly exclude travel expenses, flights, accommodation, ground transportation and any other costs or items not specifically included in the prize description.
10. A winner who is unable or unwilling to accept a prize may decline the prize, in which case Papaya will award the prize to the next highest-ranked eligible participant on the applicable leaderboard.
11. In addition to qualifying in Elimination Tournaments, additional tickets to the Madness Finals may be awarded through the following challenges, which may be made available at any time during the Tournament Period. The Company may introduce, modify or remove these challenges at its sole discretion. All eligibility requirements, timelines, and specific conditions applicable to these challenges will be specified within the Game:
11.1. The "In-Game Challenge." The In-Game Challenge is a separate challenge from the Weekend Madness Tournament, which can be accessed through the lobby of the Game. To qualify, players must complete a skill-based challenge as specified within the Game. A player may obtain a ticket through the In-Game Challenge only if the player does not qualify for the Third Round.
11.2. The "Challenge Rush". The Challenge Rush is a separate challenge from the Weekend Madness Tournament, which can be accessed through the lobby of the Game. To qualify, players must take part in a multi-stage, skill-based challenge within the Game. A ticket to the Madness Finals will be awarded in one of the stages of the Challenge Rush, as specified within the Game, in addition to any other prizes awarded as part of the Challenge Rush.
12. Players who fail to achieve the required score in the Elimination Tournament and to advance to the next stage or round ("Disqualified Players") will have view-only access to the Elimination Tournaments in their lobby and will no longer be allowed to participate. While disqualification prevents Disqualified Players from entering into the Madness Finals, we reserve the right to provide Disqualified Players with an opportunity to earn a ticket to the Madness Finals through additional methods and challenges, as detailed in section 21 below.
13. Any requests for participation that do not comply with the foregoing may be disqualified or void at our sole discretion. The Company shall not be liable for any problems that occur during the entry process, including without limitation, late, incomplete, delayed, undelivered, or misdirected entries, and shall not have any obligation to advise you of an incomplete, invalid, or undeliverable submission. No other form or method for submitting an entry will be considered unless otherwise set forth in the specific Weekend Madness Tournament description.
14. The choice of winners is final and binding, unless stated otherwise in these Weekend Madness Terms or the General Promotion Rules.
Prize Distribution and Winners' Responsibilities
15. Should you win a prize (except tickets) as part of the Weekend Madness Tournament, we will add the prize amount to your user account, within one business day from the end of the Tournament Period, unless the Company, in its sole discretion, has any reason to believe the winner is not eligible to participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament or to be awarded the prize, or unless you are one of the Top Winners (as identified in section 20 below). Tickets will be awarded at the conclusion of the Third Round of the First Stage. Top Winners will receive their prizes in accordance with section 18.
16. You may use the prize amount to play in other competitions and tournaments immediately after the prize is added to your account. If you would like to withdraw a prize won as part of the Madness Finals, it may take up to 5 business days after your prize is loaded to your account for the prize to be made available for withdrawal. This five-day period allows us to confirm your eligibility to participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament, to verify your account registration details in accordance with our Terms, and to comply with any legal and regulatory obligations that may apply.
17. If two or more players achieve the same score in the first three places, the applicable prize will be split equally among them.
18. We reserve the right to provide you with the prize by any means, including but not limited to cash, bank transfer, PayPal wire transfer, check, etc.
19. The winners are solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prizes and paying any expenses associated therewith which are not specifically provided for in the Weekend Madness Terms. Prizes may be subject to withholding tax or any other applicable taxes, as required by applicable law.
20. You allow the Company to contact you through any communication channel, including but not limited to the in-Game inbox, email, phone, or social media, for the purpose of administration of the Weekend Madness Tournament, awarding of prizes and collecting any necessary information and documentation as part of the Weekend Madness Tournament. We will notify each potential winner by sending a notification through the email address or phone number (which was used to register to the Services), or via social media account (as applicable), within seven (7) days from the end of the Tournament Period.
21. In addition to the terms specified above, the following terms will apply to the winners of the First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth places in the Madness Finals ("Top Winners"):
a. The Top Winners may be required to sign and return, within seven (7) days of being notified, an affidavit/declaration of eligibility, waiver/disclaimer of liability, and publicity release (collectively, "Affidavit") in order to claim their prizes.
b. The prize will be awarded within five (5) business days after the submission of the written Affidavit, unless Papaya, in its sole discretion, has any reason to believe the winner is not eligible to participate in the Weekend Madness Tournament or to be awarded the prize or did not comply with the requirements of the Weekend Madness Terms.
c. Top Winners may be required to participate in publicity, including events taking place during and after the Tournament Period. By accepting any prize, you consent to a representative of the Company contacting you or visiting you at your residence to create publicity and promotional materials with you. This may include photographing, filming, or otherwise recording you at your residence as part of promotional content. You also agree that the Company may publish certain details about your win, including your name, username, photo, state of residence, prize, recorded materials for publicity and promotional purposes related to the Weekend Madness Tournament or the Company’s legitimate interests, as well as any photographs, videos, or other recordings captured in connection with the awarding of the prize. All personal data processing will be conducted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
d. We will make three (3) attempts to contact the Top Winners within five business days from the end of the Weekend Madness Tournament. If we are unable to contact the potential winner within the specified time frame, or if such potential winner fails to sign and return the Affidavit or is otherwise disqualified or does not comply with these Weekend Madness Terms, the General Promotion Rules or the Terms, the Company may forfeit the prize and grant it to another winner.
e. The Company reserves the right to reasonably extend these terms to additional winners beyond the Top Winners at its sole discretion.
Social Media Promotion
22. In addition to the methods for obtaining tickets to the Madness Finals specified above in Sections 7 and 8, a player may obtain a ticket to the Madness Finals through the following methods, which may be made available at any time during the Tournament Period("Community Challenges"). The Company may introduce, modify or remove these methods at its sole discretion:
22.1. "Social Media Participation": On our official Facebook pages (“Papaya Solitaire Cash”, “Papaya Solitaire Cash: Card Trading Official Group” and “Solitaire Cash Fam”), we may publish challenges and activities that require your engagement, including but not limited to sharing a picture, video, or comment. The winner will be selected by a Company representative, on the date and time identified in each community challenge.
22.2. "VIP Participation": We may publish challenges and activities for our VIP players in the designated VIP Facebook groups or via email. These challenges will require your engagement, including but not limited to sharing a picture, video, or comment. The winner will be selected by a Company representative on the date and time specified in each community challenge.
23. In order to verify your account in Company's records and facilitate the delivery of the ticket to the Madness Finals, we will contact the winners in the Community Challenges via private message to their Facebook account, or to tag the winners in a comment under the original post related to the Community Challenge. Winners must respond by providing their username and phone number associated with their Papaya's account.
Failure to respond within the specified timeframe will result in forfeiture of the ticket, and we will be unable to provide the prize.
24. By participating in the Community Challenges, you grant the Company the right to use any content you upload, including but not limited to your photos, name, videos, and comments, for reasonable marketing, promotional, or other publicity-related purposes.
25. You hereby release and hold Meta harmless from any liability arising from the Weekend Madness Tournament and acknowledge that the Weekend Madness Tournament is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta.
Additional General Terms
26. The description of the Weekend Madness Tournament may be available within the Game or via an external document, which can be accessed during the Tournament Period through a pop-up presented to you when entering the Weekend Madness Tournament or can also be accessed from the lobby page in the Game.
27. Unless prohibited by applicable law, Papaya reserves the right to: (i) modify, alter, or change the Weekend Madness Tournament and prize amounts; (ii) modify, alter, change or cancel the Weekend Madness Tournament, or any part thereof, at any time in its sole discretion, with or without prior notice. Papaya may cancel, modify, or suspend the Weekend Madness Tournament and any of the prizes or benefits offered hereunder, including, without limitation, when required for security reasons, to comply with applicable laws or regulations, in cases of abuse, or due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., epidemic, earthquake, strike, war, act of God, etc.), if the Weekend Madness Tournament cannot be conducted as specified. Notwithstanding the above, Papaya will make reasonable efforts (to the extent possible) to notify you of any changes to the Weekend Madness Tournament or the Weekend Madness Terms prior to the beginning of the Tournament Period. You acknowledge that you shall be responsible for staying up to date with any and all changes made to the Weekend Madness Terms or the Weekend Madness Tournament. In the event of modification, your continued participation in the Weekend Madness Tournament constitutes acceptance of the modified terms or Weekend Madness Terms.
28. It is your sole responsibility to notify us in writing if you changed your contact details during the Tournament Period.
29. The Company is not responsible in any manner for any warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or law, relating to any of the prizes, regarding the use, value or enjoyment of the prizes, including, without limitation, their quality, condition, or fitness for a particular purpose. Papaya is further not responsible for any cancellation, postponement, relocation, or other change relating to any event associated with a prize. The winners hereby agree to release the Company and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims arising in connection with the Weekend Madness Tournament, the prizes and the respective awards or use of any of the prizes.
30. If we become aware of any fraud, deceit, misconduct, dishonesty or similar action concerning your participation in the Weekend Madness Tournament, or if you acted in a disruptive, unsportsmanlike, or abusive manner or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Weekend Madness Tournament or if you breached any of these Weekend Madness Terms, the General Promotion Rules, the Terms and/or any additional laws, regulations and rules which apply to your use of the Services and/or your participation in any Weekend Madness Tournament, then (i) we reserve the absolute right to automatically and immediately disqualify you or invalidate your entry, and (ii) we also reserve the right to seek damages and other remedies from you to the full extent permitted by law. If fraud, deceit, misconduct, dishonesty or other action is only discovered after any applicable reward has been granted to you, then you shall be required, upon demand, to return the prize to us immediately upon receipt of our demand to do so (or, if not feasible, provide equivalent compensation).
31. To comply with applicable laws and facilitate the distribution of prizes, you may be subject to additional verification or administrative requirements, as determined by Papaya at its sole discretion, such as providing certain information, including but not limited to your first name, the first letter of your last name, city and state, in order to confirm eligibility, ensure the integrity of the Weekend Madness Tournament, finalize logistics and ensure compliance with applicable laws and Papaya's policies. We may also request additional information as needed to meet legal obligations, ensure the integrity of the Weekend Madness Tournament or complete the prize distribution process. Such requirements may include, without limitation, participation in a live play demo, as part of which you will participate in a video call and share a live feed of the device with which you play the Game, as you are playing the Game; during the demo, Papaya representative will watch your gameplay to ensure your level of play and the integrity of Weekend Madness Tournament. You also agree that we may provide the information and documentation you give us, pursuant to this Section, to the appropriate tax authorities. If you fail to satisfy these requirements within the timeframes specified by us, or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the information and documentation you provided to us is incomplete, false, or inaccurate, we may withhold the distribution of your prize until you have provided us with the necessary information or documentation to our satisfaction and we reserve the right to disqualify you from the Weekend Madness Tournament, which will result in your prize being forfeited with no compensation.
32. All products, services and company names referenced and/or included are the registered trademarks of their original owners. The use of any mark, name, image, or likeness is for identification and reference purposes only and does not imply any association with the trademark holder, respective individual, or brand. The Company expressly disclaims any affiliation with any third-party trademarks or rights of publicity referenced and/or included in the Weekend Madness Tournament, or related materials. The use of any mark, name, image, or likeness is not intended to mislead, confuse the customer, or infringe on the copyright, rights of publicity, or trademark of any third party. Such use in no way indicates any relationship with any third party, nor does it signify that any such third party is the source of, endorses, approves of, or sponsors the use of our Services. We make no commercial claim to the use of any copyright, rights of publicity, or trademark of any third party, or suggestion of sponsorship or endorsement, and any such use is provided for informational purposes only.
33. To obtain the first name, last initial, city and state of the winners, send a separate self-addressed, stamped envelope marked "Promotion Winners List – Weekend Madness Tournament” to us at 106 West 32nd street, FL 2 New York, NY 10001). Requests for winners list must be received no later than 90 days from the Weekend Madness Tournament's end date (residents of Vermont and Washington need not include return postage).
34. Governing law will be as detailed in our Terms.
35. In case of a conflict between these Weekend Madness Terms, the General Promotion Rules or the Terms, these Weekend Madness Terms shall prevail.
36. If any portion of these Weekend Madness Terms is found to be unenforceable or unlawful for any reason, including because it is found to be unconscionable, (a) the unenforceable or unlawful provision will be severed from these Weekend Madness Terms; (b) severance of the unenforceable or unlawful provision will have no impact whatsoever on the remainder of these Weekend Madness Terms; and (c) the unenforceable or unlawful provision may be revised to the extent required to render these Weekend Madness Terms enforceable or valid, and the rights and responsibilities of the parties will be interpreted and enforced accordingly, so as to preserve these Weekend Madness Terms and the intent of these Weekend Madness Terms to the fullest possible extent.
