What happens to my entry fee if the tournament is suddenly interrupted?

If your game gets interrupted, whether your phone turns off or your connection is lost, the tournament will automatically pause for up to 10 minutes. When you return, you can pick up right where you left off.

If you don’t return within 10 minutes, your score will be lost and submitted as 0, which means your entry fee will be forfeited.

Keep in mind, using the Pause feature doesn't extend your playtime.
