How Can I Choose A Tournament’s Entry Fee?
Some tournaments let you choose their entry fee before playing. You can do that by tapping the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons above the tournament’s listed entry fee: increase the entry fee by tapping the + button, and decrease it by tapping the - button.
You won’t be able to decide the exact entry fee; instead, you'll cycle through a few predetermined sums.
A higher entry fee means a chance at a bigger prize if you rank high enough to win. For example, entering with $1 might earn you $2 for first place, while entering with $1.50 could earn you $4.
Note that your opponents may choose a different entry fee than you. Because of this, it’s possible for someone in 2nd place to win more than someone in 1st, just because they chose a higher entry fee.
